Value does all of the work and color gets all of the credit! A full range of value – highlights, midtones, and shadows – is more important than color for realism. At the end of Session 2 & Session 3 you will be able to draw a realistic eye on toned paper; transfer a traced image to begin the drawing process; and be familiar with drawing freehand using values, shadow shapes, hard and soft edges.
